Matthew Pryor

Matthew Pryor is an experienced mechanical engineer currently serving as a Longwall Mechanical Engineer at Centennial Coal since February 2018, after previously holding the role of Graduate Mechanical Engineer. Prior to this, Matthew spent over seven years at Newcastle Hydraulics, where responsibilities included project management, technical reporting, and mechanical design, following completion of university degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Business from the University of Newcastle. Additionally, Matthew contributed to the University of Newcastle's Formula SAE team as an Aerodynamics Engineer, leading the design of the aerodynamics package that achieved outstanding competition results. Early experience includes a role as a Bicycle Mechanic at Beyond Bikes.
