Mick Townsend

Mick Townsend has extensive experience in health and safety training within the coal industry, currently serving as the Northern Region Health Safety & Training Coordinator at Centennial since May 2023. Prior roles include Health Safety Training Superintendent at Centennial Coal (Myuna) and Health Safety Training Coordinator at Centennial Coal (Newstan), demonstrating a progressive career spanning from 1992 to the present. Educational qualifications include attendance at several vocational institutions, such as the Vocational Institute of Australia, Kurri Tafe, and Lithgow Tafe, along with foundational education from Lithgow High School.
