Marie Braswell

Marie Braswell currently serves as the Associate Vice President of Global Strategy & Market Development at Centennial College since July 2023. Prior to this role, Marie was a consultant focused on International Business Development and Conflict Management at Global Melange from March 2005 to July 2023. Marie also held the position of Director of Recruitment & Marketing for both International and Domestic at Saint Mary's University from May 2010 to February 2023, where data analysis contributed to significant growth in international business. Marie's earlier experience includes a managerial role in marketing and recruitment at George Brown College and a college preparation coordination position at Nova Scotia Community College, fostering community relations and increasing enrollment. Marie's career began with a research officer role at the Pearson Peacekeeping Centre after completing a Master of Arts in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution from Royal Roads University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the Open University of British Columbia.
