Nora Hindy

Nora Hindy is a seasoned education professional currently serving as the Director of Global Citizenship Education at Centennial College, where leadership is provided in the strategic development of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion educational programs. In addition, Nora Hindy holds the position of Director at the Urban Alliance on Race Relations and co-founded the Youth Fellowship program. Previously, as Principal at the Peel District School Board, a staff mentorship program focusing on Black, Indigenous, and racialized leadership was co-created, alongside roles as an educator, curriculum leader, and developer. Nora Hindy has mentored new administrators through the Ontario Principals' Council and is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Adult and Continuing Education Administration at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto. Other academic credentials include a Master's Degree in Public Policy, Administration, and Law from York University and a Bachelor of Education in Mathematics from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto.
