Sara Yvonne "Bonnie" Escobar currently serves as the Executive Director of Enlace Comunitario, an organization focused on combatting domestic violence and promoting gender equity within the Latino immigrant community in Central New Mexico. In addition to this role, Escobar operates as an Independent Consultant through SY Escobar Consulting, specializing in fund development and executive management for nonprofits. Previously, Escobar held the position of Director for Strategic Development at the Center Against Sexual & Family Violence, overseeing the organization's Sexual Assault Program. Additional experience includes serving as Chief Development Officer and Director of Fund Development at El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank, and Managing Partner at MJD & Associates. Escobar holds both a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Texas at El Paso.
