Prema Katari Gupta

Prema Katari Gupta has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various organizations and roles. In 2020, Prema joined Center City District as the Vice President, where they oversaw the management of four parks, streetscape assets, and the design and construction of capital improvements. Their responsibilities later expanded to include oversight of various projects and associations within the organization.

In 2022, Prema became the Executive Director of Central Philadelphia Development Corporation. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Vice President at PIDC from 2015 to 2020, where they led the Navy Yard office and successfully negotiated the lifting of a deed restriction, among other accomplishments.

Prema also held the position of Director of Planning and Economic Development at University City District from 2010 to 2015, where they spearheaded the development of transformative public space projects. Before that, they worked as a Real Estate Manager at PIDC and as a Scholar in Residence at the Urban Land Institute.

Prema's earliest work experience was as a Development Officer at Yale University, where they managed annual giving programs. Prema held this position from 2000 to 2003.
