Associate Director Of Math; K-8 at CENTER CITY PUBLIC CHARTER SCHOOLS

Emily Strohbeck M. ED. has extensive experience in education, currently serving as the Associate Director of Math at Center City Public Charter Schools since July 2010. Emily has held various roles within the organization, including Curriculum and Instruction Specialist for grades 3-8 and Curriculum Manager for grades 4-8 math, along with teaching math and science for grades 4 and 5. Prior to this, Emily was involved with Urban Teachers from September 2010 to August 2014 as a Graduate Student/Resident & Fellow in an alternative teacher preparation program. Emily's earlier career also includes positions at the National Geographic Society as an Image Collection/STA Assistant Manager and as an Independent Contractor at Northrop Grumman, along with serving as a Corps Member with the Corporation for National and Community Service. Emily holds a Master’s Degree in Education & Special Education from Lesley University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Media Art and Design with a focus on Technical and Scientific Communication from James Madison University.
