Edna Davis-Brown is an experienced professional in the fields of public health, training, and program management. Currently serving as an Implementation Specialist at the Center for Adoption Support and Education since September 2018, Edna supports the National Adoption Competency Mental Health Training Initiative. Additionally, since 2007, Edna has been a Training and Management Consultant/Implementation Specialist for the Gregory B. Davis Foundation, providing expertise in strategic planning, program evaluation, and staff development. Edna's background includes roles such as Senior Research Associate at The Madrillon Group Inc. contributing to NIH initiatives, Program Director at the American Psychological Association overseeing grants management, Operations Coordinator at ASHLIN Management Group for workforce development projects, and Division Director at Westover Consultants, Inc. managing federal conference support contracts. Edna holds a Master's degree in Public Health Education and Promotion from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Science in Community Health Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
