Daniella Leger has a comprehensive work experience in the field of communications and strategy. Daniella started their career in 2002 as the Deputy Communications Director at the Democratic National Committee. From there, they worked at the Ohio Democratic Coordinated Campaign for John Kerry in 2004. In 2005, they joined the Center for American Progress as the VP of Communications until 2009 when they moved to The White House as the Special Assistant to the President and Director of Message Events. Daniella returned to the Center for American Progress in 2011, where they held various senior leadership roles, including Vice President for American Values and New Communities, Senior Vice President for Communications and Strategy, and finally, Executive Vice President for Communications and Strategy, a position they currently hold.
