Stefan Romberg

Stefan Romberg is a seasoned development professional with extensive experience in nonprofit fundraising and partnership management. Currently serving as Chief Development Officer at the Center for American Progress since July 2019, Stefan has held various roles in the organization, including Interim CDO, Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, and Managing Director of Foundation Relations. Prior to this, Stefan worked at Southern California Public Radio as Director of Institutional Giving and held multiple positions at the Center for American Progress from 2011 to 2015. Earlier career experience includes grant writing for the National Parent Teacher Association and development roles at TrueChild. Stefan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from The University of Tennessee.
