Zachary Knowles

Zachary Knowles has extensive experience in institutional giving and foundation relations, currently serving as Vice President at the Center for American Progress since February 2019. Previous roles at the same organization include Managing Director, Senior Director, and Director of Foundation Relations. Prior to joining the Center for American Progress, Zachary held the position of Associate Director of Institutional Giving at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences from September 2017 to February 2019, and various roles at The George Washington University, including Associate Director of Foundation Relations. Zachary began his career in administration at Johns Hopkins University. Educational background includes a Master’s Degree in International and Comparative Education from The George Washington University and a Bachelor's Degree in International/Global Studies from American University.
