Marybelle Marrero-Colon

Marybelle Marrero-Colon has extensive experience in professional development and education, currently serving as the Associate Director of Professional Development at the Center for Applied Linguistics since 2012. In this role, Marybelle develops and delivers training on the SIOP Model aimed at supporting educators of English learner populations. Additionally, Marybelle has held multiple positions in various educational organizations, including Adjunct Faculty at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, member and presenter with the National Association of Bilingual Education, and a role in the TESOL International Association's Conferences Professional Council. With a robust academic background, including an MA in Bilingual Special Education from Hunter College and multiple degrees focused on education administration and bilingual education, Marybelle has contributed significantly to the fields of bilingual, special, and multicultural education.
