Elizabeth Hartmann has extensive experience in the field of education, currently serving as the Chair of the Graduate Education Program and Professor at Lasell University since January 2011. In addition, Elizabeth holds the position of Senior Research Scientist at CAST since July 2021 and has served as an Adjunct Lecturer on Education at Harvard University since August 2016. Previously, Elizabeth was a UDL Postdoctoral Fellow at Boston College & CAST in early 2010. Elizabeth earned a Ph.D. in the Joint Doctoral Program in Special Education from the University of California, Berkeley (2004-2009), an M.Ed. in Special Education with a focus on Deafblindness and Visual Impairments from Boston College (1998-2000), and a B.A. in Elementary Education from Boston College (1994-1998).
