Alexei Saveliev

Alexei Saveliev has extensive work experience in various research and lab roles. Alexei is currently the Director of NGS Lab Operations at the Center for Breakthrough Medicines. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Scientist in NGS Process Development at GENEWIZ, By Azenta Life Sciences. Alexei also served as the Associate Director of Nucleic Acid Technologies Core and Research Specialist D in the Vector Core at the Gene Therapy Program at the University of Pennsylvania. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Research Associate at DuPont Pioneer and as a Research Specialist at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and the University of Pennsylvania.

Alexei Saveliev began their education in 1989 at Saint Petersburg State University, where they pursued a Master's Degree in Biology with a specialization in Genetics. Alexei successfully completed their degree in 1994. Later, in 1999, they attended The Wharton School, where they obtained a Certificate in Business Administration through the Wharton Management Program. This program lasted from 1999 to 2001.
