Michael McCormick

Michael McCormick is an experienced professional who has held various leadership roles in quality assurance and regulatory affairs. From 2008 to 2013, they served as a QA Manager at Johnson Matthey Fine Chemicals, where they oversaw QA, QC, AR&D, and MV groups across two facilities. During their tenure, McCormick implemented performance improvement measures that increased quality control throughput by more than 50% and developed a program that reduced customer complaints by 20% annually. Michael also led three successful regulatory inspections. From 2013 to 2020, McCormick worked at WuXi AppTec as the Vice President of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs. Michael spearheaded the expansion of the Philadelphia Campus and played a key role in implementing a Quality Management System. Currently, they serve as the Vice President of Quality and Compliance at the Center for Breakthrough Medicines at Discovery Labs.

Michael McCormick obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia from 1995 to 2001. Michael pursued further education and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Biotechnology and Health Industry at Penn State University from 2005 to 2008.
