Robert Hills

Robert Hills has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Robert currently holds the position of Director GMP Molecular Services at the Center for Breakthrough Medicines since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Biology at Biomeme, Inc. from March 2022 to March 2023. Robert also served as the PD Assay Development Lead at the University of Pennsylvania from May 2019 to March 2022. Before that, they were the Senior Scientist and Facility Director at The Wistar Institute from November 2014 to March 2017. Robert also held the position of Head of Pharmacogenomics at QPS, LLC in May 2014. With Janssen, Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson and Johnson, they worked as a Sr. Scientist from February 2008 to April 2014. Prior to that, they held positions as a Pr. Scientist at Pfizer from September 2004 to 2008, a Sr. Scientist at Pharmacia from May 2002 to September 2004, and a Sr. Scientist at Searle from September 1998 to May 2002. Robert started their career as a Post-Doc at Genetics Institute from September 1996 to September 1998.

Robert Hills completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biochemistry from Virginia Tech, attending from 1984 to 1988. Robert then pursued further education at the University of Minnesota, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry from 1990 to 1996.
