Center for Civilians in Conflict
Saman Omar is an experienced education professional and program advisor, currently serving as the Director of the Language Center at Salahaddin University-Erbil since January 2019. With a longstanding tenure at the university since December 2003, Saman Omar also holds a position as a University Instructor and has previously directed the Language Centre from May 2013 to January 2017. In addition to academic roles, Saman Omar has been a Program Advisor for the Center for Civilians in Conflict since August 2016, contributing to the NGO's mission to protect civilians in war zones. Saman Omar holds a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from the Faculty of Arts, obtained between 1996 and 2000.
