Cathrine Macort

Director of Administration and Operations at Center for Coastal Studies (Provincetown, MA)

Cathrine Macort has a diverse work experience in various organizations. In 2004, they began their career at the Cape Cod Maritime Museum, where they served as an Administrator/Educator until 2008. Following that, they joined the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod as the Director of Community Partnerships from 2008 to 2010. In 2010, they transitioned to the Center for Coastal Studies, initially holding the position of Executive Assistant. Currently, they are the Director of Administration and Operations at the Center for Coastal Studies, a role they have held since January 2022.

Cathrine Macort's education history includes a Master of Arts degree in Maritime Archaeology from the University of Southampton, obtained from 1999 to 2000. Prior to that, they pursued a M.Sc. in Archaeological Science at the University of Liverpool from 1993 to 1995. Before their postgraduate studies, Cathrine completed their undergraduate education at The University of Edinburgh, earning a B Sc. Hons degree in Geology from 1989 to 1993.
