Aunray Stanford currently serves as a Reentry Coordinator at the Center for Community Alternatives, focusing on promoting bridge services and pathways to success for justice-impacted youth. Aunray is also a Researcher at New York University, conducting IRB-approved community-based research on carceral debts. Previously, Aunray worked as a Youth Development Specialist at ManUp!Inc.usa, implementing the "Cure Violence Model" at the ACS Crossroads Detention Center and co-facilitating therapy groups for the "Wounded Fathers Project." Aunray's earlier role at the Center for Community Alternatives involved developing and facilitating a creative writing curriculum for incarcerated youth. Aunray is pursuing a Master of Public Health degree at New York University, expected in January 2025.
