Community Change
Deborah Coffy, CRPS, currently serves as a Call for Kindness Fellow at Riley's Way Foundation, focusing on Black and Queer events in Central Florida. In addition to this role, Deborah is engaged with various organizations including Mothering Justice as a Mamavist Fellow, The Mahogany Project as a Drag Curator Intern, and Rhia Ventures as a Community Advisory Council Member. Deborah also contributes as a Dove Youth Board Member for Unilever's Dove Self Esteem Project and is the Southeast Co-Lead for the Abortion Support Collective with Advocates for Youth. Other roles include being an Advisory Team Member at Euki and Co-Director at Mahogany Galore. As a member of Mental Health America's Young Leaders Council and an advisor for the National Black Women's Justice Institute, Deborah co-leads efforts to support youth survivors of gender-based violence. Deborah holds a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Central Florida, along with an Associate of Arts from Pasco-Hernando State College, and has pursued further education in birthing advocacy.
