Tyson Jackson

Senior Organizer at Community Change

Tyson Jackson is a seasoned organizer with extensive experience in economic justice, housing justice, and community advocacy. Currently serving as a Senior Organizer at Community Change since July 2021, Tyson also holds dual roles in reinvestment and Black-led organizing. As a co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Black With No Chaser since October 2017, Tyson contributes to media advocacy as the President of BWNC Radio. Previous roles include Campaign Lead at Communications Workers of America and Director of Organizing at People's Advocacy Institute. Tyson has a rich background that encompasses program coordination, community organization, and legal redress coordination, with early experience in the military as an Airman 1st Class in the Mississippi Air National Guard. Academically, Tyson earned a degree in Political Science from Tougaloo College and furthered education at the University of Pennsylvania in 2022.
