Kara Penfield

Kara Penfield is a seasoned executive coach and leadership development facilitator with extensive experience in coaching and education. As Co-Founder and Partner at Spiro Coaching Institute since October 2020, Kara also leads initiatives as Executive Coach at Penfield Consulting Group since April 2013. Roles include Senior Consultant at Kramer Leadership, LLC and Adjunct Executive Coach and Coaching Talent Leader at the Center for Creative Leadership since October 2012. Kara's academic contributions include serving as an Adjunct Professor at UNC Greensboro, teaching assessment methods for students with special needs, and as a Research Associate at the University of Miami. Previous experience includes roles as Director of Academic Assessment and School Psychologist at Miami-Dade County Public Schools, along with serving as Advance Sales Coach at The Walt Disney Company. Educational credentials include a PhD in School Psychology from the University of Florida and a BA in Psychology from West Virginia University.
