Kathy Schaftlein

Kathy Schaftlein, CPTD, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, is an experienced Human Resources professional with a comprehensive background in leadership development and employee relations. Since August 2004, Kathy has served as the Human Resources Director at the Center for Creative Leadership, where responsibilities include recruitment, talent development, and employee relations support for North America staff. Prior to this role, Kathy worked at American Express from August 1989 to May 2004 as a Program Manager for Global Leadership Development, overseeing the design and implementation of development programs for a global workforce. Kathy's career began at Dillard's Department Stores from August 1982 to August 1989, where the focus was on HR Generalist and training support. Educational qualifications include a BA in English from the University of Kentucky and an MA in Liberal Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
