Lisa French has a diverse work experience in the military and psychology fields. Lisa started their career in 2002 as a Clinical Psychologist in the United States Air Force and worked there until 2011. After that, they joined the Center for Deployment Psychology, where they held various roles such as Deployment Behavioral Health Psychologist, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Trainer, Assistant Director of Military Programs, and ultimately Chief of Staff until 2021. From 2021 to 2023, they worked as a Senior Military Behavioral Health Psychologist at Parakar, a company supporting the Center for Deployment Psychology. Lisa is currently serving as the Chief of Operations at the Center for Deployment Psychology since October 2023.

Lisa French earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Women's Studies Certificate from Oregon State University from 1993 to 1996. Prior to that, they studied Psychology at George Fox University from 1992 to 1993. Lisa later pursued a Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology at Pacific University from 1997 to 2003.
