Ana-Maria Tonita has a diverse work experience, starting from 2005 as an HR Officer & Project Manager at Volunteers for Ideas and Projects. From 2010 to 2015, they worked at Arriva Mainland Europe as a Project Manager, focusing on new mobility initiatives and improving client relationships. In 2015, Ana-Maria joined SOLS 24/7 as a Community Development Officer, leading the establishment and activities of a new community center. Ana-Maria then moved to door2door | the mobility company in 2016, where they served as the Head of Business Development, responsible for strategic partnerships, market insights, and sales enablement. In the same year, Ana-Maria co-founded and became a board member of Aspire Teachers, an NGO that provides pedagogical programs for teachers in the Romanian public education system. Ana-Maria defined the organization's strategy and served as the Executive Director until May 2019. Currently, Ana-Maria Tonita is working at Hubject as the Chief of Staff and will soon transition into the role of Vice President People & Strategy.
Ana-Maria Tonita's education history consists of three notable periods. From 2005 to 2008, they attended Academia de Studii Economice din București and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, Insurance, Banks, and Stock Markets. Subsequently, from 2007 to 2008, they pursued further studies at Université Toulouse 1 Capitole, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in International Economics. Finally, from 2008 to 2010, Ana-Maria Tonita attended the University of Groningen, where they completed a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Management.
