Kristina "Yna" Moore is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in marketing and communications across various organizations. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications at the Center for Disaster Philanthropy since July 2020, Kristina previously held key roles such as Communications Consultant at Critical Minded, Strategic Communications Consultant with the Philanthropic Initiative for Racial Equity, and Senior Director of Communications at the National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy from 2006 to 2019, where Kristina led comprehensive communication strategies, brand revitalization efforts, and developed a high-performing communications team. Earlier positions include Associate Director of Communications at The Henry L. Stimson Center and Program Associate at the International START Secretariat, along with foundational roles in government and international organizations. Kristina holds a Master's degree in Technology & International Public Policy from the University of Denver and a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from Ateneo de Manila University.

CDP’s mission is to leverage the power of philanthropy to mobilize a full range of resources that strengthen the ability of communities to withstand disasters and recover equitably when they occur. With an emphasis on recovery and disaster risk reduction, CDP aims to: • Increase the effectiveness of contributions given to disasters • Bring greater attention to the life cycle of disasters, from preparedness and planning, to relief, to rebuilding and recovery efforts • Provide timely and relevant advice from experts with deep knowledge of disaster philanthropy • Conduct due diligence so donors can give with confidence • Create plans for informed giving for individuals, corporations and foundations
