Center for Ecoliteracy
Anne Moertel currently serves as the Director of Outreach and Communications at the Center for Ecoliteracy, where responsibilities include creating strategic communications, cultivating partnerships, and transforming school food and TK–12 education. Previously, Anne held the position of Outreach and Communications Manager at San Francisco Unified School District, leading department communications during the COVID-19 crisis and handling various advocacy campaigns. As Creative Director at Healthy Schools Campaign, Anne directed design and communications for initiatives improving school food and health services. Additional experience includes creating educational resources for School Retool and Stanford University School of Medicine, as well as producing print and e-book materials for the Children's Oncology Group. Anne's educational background includes a BFA in Visual Communications from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
