Center for Ecoliteracy
Elizabeth Carlton currently serves as Program Manager for the California Food for California Kids initiative at the Center for Ecoliteracy, facilitating the provision of fresh, locally grown meals in California school districts while enhancing educational connections among classrooms, cafeterias, and gardens. Previous roles include Program Coordinator for the same initiative, an intern at SIERRA HARVEST focusing on community engagement and administrative support, and an Administrative and Grants Assistant at SIERRA COUNTY LAND TRUST, where grant research and donor management were primary responsibilities. Earlier experience includes post-production roles at Venables Bell and Partners, contributing to broadcast commercials and digital content, and administrative support positions in environmental nonprofits. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Science in Conservation and Resource Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
