Nicole Schoentag is a consultant at the Center for Economic and Policy Research since May 2024, bringing extensive experience in education leadership and mentorship. Previously, Nicole served as the Associate Director of Lower School and Learning Specialist at Marin Horizon School from July 2021 to July 2024, and held the role of Supervisor at the Bay Area Teacher Training Institute during the same period. Nicole's earlier experience includes leadership positions as Teacher Mentorship Program Chair and Instructor at The Brandeis School of San Francisco, and as Teacher Mentorship Coordinator and Instructor at Children's Day School. Nicole began the educational career as a Kindergarten Teacher at South Peninsula Hebrew Day School. Nicole holds a PsyD in Clinical Psychology from California Southern University, a Master of Education from California State University, Fresno, and multiple teaching credentials from California State University, Monterey Bay. The educational background also includes a Bachelor of Arts in Literature from UC Santa Barbara.
