Leah Bacon

Leah Bacon currently serves as the Policy Manager at the Center for Employment Opportunities, overseeing two Policy Associates and a national portfolio focused on federal reentry workforce initiatives and state government relations in several states. Previously, Leah held roles such as Senior Policy Associate and Policy Analyst within the Government of the District of Columbia and the Council of State Governments Justice Center, where responsibilities included analyzing barriers to postsecondary education for incarcerated adults and leading research efforts presented at national conferences. Education credentials include a Master of Arts in Strategic Communications from The George Washington University and a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Sociology from Boston College, supplemented by a study abroad program in Rwanda focusing on post-genocide restoration and peacebuilding.
