Tim Hanrahan is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in promoting energy efficiency and economic sustainability. As the Director of Communications at the Center for Energy and Environment since March 2015, Tim Hanrahan oversees a comprehensive range of communications and marketing efforts. Previously, at The McKnight Foundation from 1996 to March 2015, Tim Hanrahan held roles including Strategic Communications Manager and Communications Director, where responsibilities included enhancing stakeholder communication and supporting organizational strategies. Tim Hanrahan's career began at the Walker Art Center as a Performing Arts Administrative Assistant from 1994 to 1996, where initial tasks involved creating performance programs and establishing the department's web presence. Tim Hanrahan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from Macalester College between 1985 and 1989.
