Jubaer Kamal

Jubaer Kamal is a research consultant at the Center for Environmental and Geographic Information Services (CEGIS), focusing on land use mapping through satellite images and remote sensing technology as part of the National Digital Land Zoning Project. Previously, Jubaer served as a university correspondent for dailysangbad, covering environmental issues linked to university events and conducting investigative research. Jubaer also held the position of research fellow at the Ministry of Science & Technology, where the research centered on riverbank erosion and human displacement utilizing remote sensing and GIS. Earlier experience includes another consultancy role at CEGIS for a population census project and serving as joint editor for the Rotaract Club of Jahangirnagar University. Jubaer holds a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Geography and Environment from Jahangirnagar University.
