Md. Fazle Rabbi is a Research Consultant at the Center for Environmental and Geographic Information Services (CEGIS), specializing in the Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Division since March 2023. Previously, Md. Fazle served as a Junior Urban Planner at Development Design Consultants Ltd. from September 2022 to February 2023, contributing to the "Integrated City Master Plan for Dhaka (2020-2050)" project, where responsibilities included designing basic infrastructure and developing land use plans. Md. Fazle holds a Bachelor of Science in Urban and Regional Planning from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology, and has completed Higher Secondary and Secondary education in Science from DRMC and Motijheel Model High School, respectively.

The Center for Environmental and Geographic Information Services (CEGIS) is a center of excellence situated in Dhaka, the Capital City of Bangladesh which is located in South Asia. The working domain of CEGIS span over Resource Management Planning (Natural and Intellectual), System Development, Capacity Building and Research activities. A Public Trust and center of excellence established by the Government of Bangladesh under the Ministry of Water Resources (MoWR); A "Not-for-Profit" organization guided by a Board of Trustees headed by the Secretary of the MoWR; An entity strengthened with an organized pool of experts and resources to serve humanity by excelling in the state-of-the-art technology in resource management planning, system development, study and research and capacity building; An organization aimed at achieving green environment, blue water and balanced development for better well-being of the nation. While Bangladesh is making great strides towards holistic and sustainable development, CEGIS has been relentlessly trying since the inception of its predecessor EGIS in 1995 to support the country’s efforts for sustainable socio-economic development by providing scientific, technological and socio-economic know-how.
