Alina Polyakova

Alina Polyakova, PhD, is currently the President and CEO of the Center for European Policy Analysis. Before this role, Alina worked at various prestigious institutions such as Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and The Brookings Institution, focusing on Russian foreign policy, political warfare, European politics, and populism. Prior to that, Alina was the Director of Research, Europe & Eurasia at the Atlantic Council, among other notable positions. Alina holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.A. in Economics and Sociology from Emory University.
