Hanna Shelest

Non-resident Senior Fellow With The Transatlantic Defense And Security Program at Center for European Policy Analysis

Hanna Shelest is an accomplished academic and security expert with extensive experience in international relations, foreign policy, and conflict resolution. Currently serving as a Lecturer at Ukrainian Catholic University and a Non-resident Senior Fellow at the Center for European Policy Analysis, Hanna Shelest also directs Security Programmes and is a Board Member at the Foreign Policy Council "Ukrainian Prism." As Editor-in-Chief of UA: Ukraine Analytica and Head of the Board at the NGO "Promotion of Intercultural Cooperation," Hanna Shelest promotes intercultural dialogue and contributes to scholarly discourse. Past roles include consulting for the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue and a Senior Researcher position at the National Institute for Strategic Studies, focusing on security issues in the Black Sea region. Educational qualifications include a PhD in International Relations from Odessa I.I. Mechnikov National University and various certificates in peacebuilding and conflict transformation from renowned institutions.
