Kyiesha Anderson is a Family Advocate at the Center for Family Representation. Kyiesha has held this position since April 2019. Prior to that, they were a Case Manager at Safe Horizon from August 2016 to April 2019. In that role, they provided counseling and advocacy services to crime victims in Manhattan, NY. Kyiesha also created advocacy letters for crime victims, assisted with Office of Victim Services Compensation applications, and attended Manhattan Midtown Court meetings.

Kyiesha Anderson began their career as a Research Assistant at John Jay College (CUNY) in August 2014. In that role, they conducted research on a variety of topics related to criminal justice. Kyiesha also assisted with the development and implementation of research projects. Kyiesha Anderson has a passion for helping others and ensuring that they have the resources and support they need to heal from trauma and move forward with their lives.

Kyiesha Anderson received their MA in Criminal Justice, Law and Procedure from John Jay College (CUNY) and their BA in Criminology with a minor in Sociology from The Ohio State University. Kyiesha also attended State University of New York at Delhi for Criminal Justice and Corrections.
