Erin Heckaman, MS, CGC

Erin Heckaman, MS, CGC has extensive work experience in the field of genetic counseling. Erin currently serves as the Director of Genetic Counseling Initiatives at the Center for Genomic Interpretation. Prior to this, they were on the Board of Directors for the Association for Utah Genetic Counselors from 2018-2020 and was a Genetic Counselor at DNA ALLY from 2019-2020. From 2012-2018, they worked as a Genetic Counselor and Professional Support Specialist at Myriad Genetics.

Erin Heckaman, MS, CGC obtained a BS in Genetics and Biotechnology from Brigham Young University between 2006 and 2010. Erin then went on to receive their MS in Genetic Counseling from the University of Utah between 2010 and 2012. In October 2012, they became a Certified Genetic Counselor through the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC). Erin is also licensed as a Genetic Counselor by the State of Utah and State of Nebraska.
