Alexandra Kruse serves as a Senior Fellow and Senior Program Officer at the Center for Health Care Strategies since September 2013, focusing on the integration of care for individuals dually enrolled in Medicare and Medicaid. Prior experience includes working as a Public Policy Manager at WellCare, where responsibilities involved policy analysis and industry tracking in managed long-term care and quality measurement. Alexandra's career also includes roles as Bureau Chief at the Florida Department of Elder Affairs, overseeing long-term care eligibility, and as SHINE Statewide Director, managing a significant state health insurance assistance program for elders. Earlier positions include serving as a Medical Health Care Program Analyst for the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration and as an Administrator for Marguerite Gardens. Alexandra holds a Master of Health Administration and a Master of Science in Gerontology, both from the University of Southern California, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences from the same institution.
