Kamala Allen has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several decades. Kamala has held various roles at the Center for Health Care Strategies, starting in 1994 as an Associate Director and progressing to Director, Chief of Staff, and finally Vice President in Program Operations and Child Health Quality. From 2019 onwards, they have been a Senior Vice President responsible for Program and Strategic Planning. Prior to their work at the Center for Health Care Strategies, they worked as a Program Analyst at DHHS Maternal and Child Health Bureau in 1993. Kamala also served as a Project Coordinator at CDC Maryland Center for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention in the same year.
Kamala Allen has an extensive education history. In 1986, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from UCLA. Following that, from 1992 to 1994, they pursued a Master of Health Science degree in Maternal and Child Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
In 2021, Kamala Allen completed a Certificate in Strategic Management from the Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies. Additionally, in November 2021, they obtained the Visme Presentation Certification from Visme.
Most recently, in 2023, Kamala Allen enrolled in an online course titled "Removing Barriers to Change in Organizations" offered by Wharton Online, where they focused on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.
Moreover, they have also acquired additional certifications. In April 2021, Kamala obtained the Registered Parliamentarian certification from the National Association of Parliamentarians.
