Rachel Olide currently serves as a Student Assistant Specialist at the Center for Human Services (CHS) since July 2022. Prior to this role, Rachel worked as a Behavioral Therapist at the Center for Learning and Autism Support Services, Inc. (CLASS) from October 2021 to July 2022, and gained retail experience as a Retail Salesperson at Big 5 Sporting Goods from August 2019 to July 2022. Rachel is pursuing a degree in Biopsychology at the University of the Pacific, expected to graduate in June 2028, and previously completed an undergraduate degree at the University of California, Davis from 2018 to 2022.

Center for Human Services (CHS)
Center for Human Services opened in 1970 as Head Rest, a drop-in center for youth who needed support. Now, with over 250 paid staff, at least 100 volunteers, and operating budget of 12 million dollars, CHS serves over 20,000 clients a year through programs in the areas of shelter, juvenile justice services, mental health counseling, school-based services, family resource centers, and substance abuse prevention and treatment. Our services continue to support the youth and families of Stanislaus County. CHS has a long history here, and we do what we can in response to the needs of our community.
