Carlos P. Kizzee

Senior Vice President, CIS Stakeholder Engagement Operations at Center for Internet Security

Carlos P. Kizzee has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity and information sharing. Carlos P. has held various leadership positions in organizations such as the Center for Internet Security, the Retail & Hospitality Information Sharing and Analysis Center, the National Defense ISAC, and the Defense Security Information Exchange. Carlos has also worked for the US Department of Homeland Security in multiple roles, where they have been involved in stakeholder engagement, cyber infrastructure resilience, and strategic initiatives. Prior to that, they have worked as an information technology law and policy consultant and as a senior counsel in the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of the Air Force. Carlos began their career as a deputy area counsel in the United States Marine Corps.

Carlos P. Kizzee completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mathematics-Operations Analysis at the United States Naval Academy from 1980 to 1984. Carlos P. then pursued a Juris Doctor (JD) degree in Law at Georgetown University Law Center from 1989 to 1992. In 1998, Carlos attended TJAGSA (The Judge Advocate General's School of the Army) to obtain a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Law, which they completed in 1999.
