Cassandra Smithson

Cassandra Smithson is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as the Cyber Threat Liaison Manager at the Center for Internet Security since December 2020, Cassandra has also held positions as the Cyber Threat Technical Team Lead and Cyber Threat Detection Analyst within the organization. Prior to this, Cassandra worked at Insight Global as a Cyber Defense Incident Responder and served in the United States Air Force from 2015 to 2019, where responsibilities included training as a Cyber Security Analyst and conducting analysis as a Cyber Security Exploitation Analyst. Cassandra holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Liberty University and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration at the University of Maryland, expected to complete in August 2025.
