Director Of Support, Security Best Practice at Center for Internet Security

Chris B. has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity and support. Chris began their career in 1998 as a Senior Customer Service Engineer at LogMatrix, where they supported customer implementation and growth of SIEM and SNMP product lines. During their time at LogMatrix, Chris developed training materials and provided on-site training to customers in the UK, New Jersey, and New York.

In 2010, Chris joined NitroSecurity as a Customer Support Engineer. Chris acquired expertise with the NitroSecurity suite of SIEM tools and assisted engineering with the development of ACE, a SIEM technology acquired from LogMatrix. Chris also wrote customer-facing TechNotes and Knowledge Base articles, resolved implementation issues, and worked closely with customers to configure and tune their NitroSecurity SIEM suite of tools.

In 2011, Chris moved to McAfee as an SEO Engineer - Team Lead, SIEM. Their responsibilities included resolving customer logged issues, engaging stakeholders, providing knowledge and training to partners, and conducting webinars and live demonstrations of SIEM functions and troubleshooting. Chris remained with McAfee until September 2018.

Currently, Chris is working at the Center for Internet Security. Chris started in October 2018 as a Product Support Team Manager and later transitioned to the role of Director of Support, Security Best Practice starting in April 2022.
