Dilan Samarasinghe

Dilan Samarasinghe has extensive experience in cybersecurity, currently serving as a Senior Security Operations Center Analyst at the Center for Internet Security since July 2015, with a background in monitoring and analyzing security threats in a 24/7 SOC environment. Dilan has previously held roles as a Security Operations Center Analyst and an intern focused on security operations. Academic experience includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University at Albany, where Dilan also contributed as a Research Assistant and Web Service Assistant, engaging in various aspects of web development and security research. Skills encompass Suricata analysis, social media monitoring for security threats, HTML, PHP, mobile app development, and key-derived hashing techniques.
