Justin Burr has a solid work experience. Justin started their career at Pitney Bowes Management Services in 2005 as a Technical Site Rep and later worked at Novitex Enterprise Solutions as a Service Delivery Manager. At Novitex, they managed the Printer Service Support Center and Customer Service Support Center, overseeing a team of 9 employees and achieving outstanding results in customer service and margin delivery. Justin then worked at the City of Anna, Texas, serving as a City Council Member and Mayor Pro Tem. Justin held various leadership roles in planning and zoning commission. Subsequently, they joined RMG Networks as a Network Operations Specialist and later became a Technical Support Manager. Currently, they are working at the Center for Internet Security as the Director of Infrastructure & Engineering, and they have previously served as the Device Engineering Manager.

Justin Burr's education history begins in 1994 when they attended Victor High School, where they did not obtain a degree or specialize in any field of study. Following high school, from 1998 to 2000, they attended Monroe Community College and earned an Associate of Science degree in General/Computer Science.

In 2000, Justin enrolled in Novgorod State University named after Yaroslav-the-Wise (NovSU) for a brief period of one year. During this time, they obtained a Certificate in Russian Language and Culture.

Apart from their formal education, Justin Burr has also acquired several additional certifications. In 2019, they became a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) through the Scrum Alliance and completed The Dale Carnegie Course/Skills for Success at Dale Carnegie NENY. In the same year, they also achieved the Kanban Management Professional certification through Kanban University, obtained Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification from Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth, and acquired GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) and GIAC Advisory Board membership from GIAC Certifications.

In 2020, Justin obtained the GIAC Security Leadership Certification (GSLC) from GIAC Certifications and completed the High Impact Presentations program at Dale Carnegie NENY. Justin'smost recent certifications, obtained in 2021, include AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) and the Develop your Leadership Potential certification from Dale Carnegie Training.
