Brittany Davis, LMSW, SIFI has a diverse range of work experience in the social work field. Brittany began their career as a Paralegal Intern at Children's Rights, where they conducted research on child welfare systems. Brittany later worked as a Policy Intern at the Rhode Island Senate Policy Office, providing policy and research support. Brittany also served as a Paralegal at Children's Rights, overseeing case management and litigation support for federal civil rights lawsuits.

Brittany then transitioned into direct social work practice, working as a Social Work Intern at the NYC Department of Education, providing counseling to high school students. Brittany continued to work with adolescents as a Forensic Social Work Intern at the Legal Aid Society, using a trauma-informed approach to engage clients and provide supportive counseling.

Brittany's experience expanded into the nonprofit sector, where they worked as an Associate Program Manager at Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC, managing mentoring programs and designing curricula. Brittany then joined the Center for Justice Innovation as a Coordinator, Senior Program Manager, and currently as an Associate Director. In this role, they provide technical assistance, designs and delivers trainings, and oversees project management related to domestic violence, human trafficking, and abusive partner intervention.

In addition to their direct practice and nonprofit work, Brittany also has experience in academia. Brittany worked as an Adjunct Lecturer at NYU Silver School of Social Work, and currently serves as a Social Work Field Supervisor at the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College.

Brittany Davis, LMSW, SIFI holds a Master of Science in Social Work (MSSW) degree from Columbia University - Columbia School of Social Work, with a focus on Advanced Generalist Programming & Practice, Contemporary Social Issues, and Law. Brittany completed their Master's degree between 2015 and 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Public Policy & American Institutions from Brown University, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. Brittany has also obtained several certifications, including a Seminar in Field Instruction Certificate from New York University, a Trauma-Informed Clinical Foundation Certificate from the University at Buffalo, and a Youth Mental Health First Aid certification from NYC DOHMH. Furthermore, they are a Licensed Master Social Worker, licensed by the New York State Education Department since May 2019.
