Jennifer Coco currently serves as the Senior Director of Strategy and Impact at the Center for Learner Equity, where leadership in systems change strategy aims to enhance special education infrastructure and align stakeholders within public school systems. Prior experiences include positions as Local Policy Manager at New Pathways New Orleans and Director of Policy & Advocacy at the Southern Poverty Law Center. Jennifer's legal career also encompasses roles as Senior Staff Attorney at the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights, Associate Counsel in the Educational Opportunities Project, and participation in various internships, notably with the U.S. Department of Education and Chicago Public Schools. Jennifer holds a Juris Doctor from DePaul University and a Bachelor’s degree in English and Political Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
