Amy Merickel

Amy Merickel is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with extensive experience in counseling and education. Currently serving at the Center for Mindful Psychotherapy since January 2020, Amy has also held roles as a Counseling Intern in the San Francisco Unified School District and has worked as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist at Integral Counseling Center. With a background in education policy and restorative practices, Amy has consulted independently and contributed to various educational initiatives. Amy holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies, a Master’s in Education Policy and Evaluation from Stanford University, and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Colgate University.
