Alexandra Rickert Melvin has a diverse work experience. Alexandra started their career as an Assistant Contractor at Rickert Paint and Repair LLC, where they gained advanced training in various home improvement tasks. Alexandra then worked as a Private Nanny and Caregiver for multiple families, providing childcare and household support. Afterwards, they served as a Physical Therapy Technician/Administrative Assistant at Noonan Physical Therapy and Associates, where they managed patient care and improved office operations. Alexandra then transitioned into the nonprofit sector, joining the Center for NYC Neighborhoods. Alexandra began as a Program Associate, providing housing referrals and managing homeowner escalations. Alexandra then became a Senior Program Associate, collaborating with different teams to improve the homeowner experience. Alexandra further advanced to the role of Program Manager, overseeing program operations and performance management. In their current position as a Senior Program Manager, they manage program operations for various homeowner protection and repair programs, maintains relationships with partner organizations, and ensures the delivery of quality services.

Alexandra Rickert Melvin pursued their higher education from 2011 to 2015 at the University of Arizona. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Gender and Women's Studies.
