Carolyn Canahuate

Carolyn Canahuate serves as the Deputy Director at the Center for NYC Neighborhoods, having progressed through multiple roles including Senior Program Manager and Program Manager since May 2015. In these positions, Carolyn has demonstrated proactive leadership, ensuring project efficiency and productivity, while also providing guidance and training to junior staff. Previous experience includes roles as a Mortgage Closing Specialist and Program Associate, where Carolyn excelled in detail-oriented tasks and community engagement, respectively. Additional experience includes managing client communications at Lawyers Alliance for New York and project coordination at K12. Carolyn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Baruch College.
